I sacrifice short-term efficiency and pursue long-term scale. If you optimize for the former, you wouldn't mind copying and pasting. In that case, you're sacrificing scale. In the information age, products and services are rapidly copied and implemented elsewhere. So, if you want a scale, you must be the source of creativity— so that you can copy it from the origin—namely, your brain. Then, the earliest copier will be yourself. The file is the only resource I consulted when taking so-called open-notes exams in MTH 167 class. I wanted to understand the concepts of pre-calc and trigonometry deeply because understanding is the key to being creative.
