This is one of my answers to a question posted to a discussion board in a class of English as a Second Language course. It shows how I prioritize tasks, what I think I can sacrifice, and where I optimize my life to.
A question on the discussion board
Should I quit?
I've always wanted to focus entirely on my career, but unfortunately that hasn't been the case for me. I thought balancing my work and academic life would be possible but it is actually really challenging. I need to make a decision soon, this sleep deprivation, anxiety, stress and lack of time is really affecting my health and of course, I am not responding to school the way I wanted to. Should I keep pushing and try to organize my time better even though the day only has 24 hours and that seems to be nothing. Should I quit and try to put all my energy and my knowledge into college instead of giving it to my job?

Hi ####. These are some tips to organize your time better. Stop using social media. It's time consuming. Don't bother how others think about you. Only think about two or three very important people to you: your parents and siblings. Don't be concern about your outfit. Wear clean but same design and color outfit always. That saves you a lot of time. Plan your weekly menu ahead of time, and follow it. Don't go to grocery stores more than once a week. Decide which grocery stores to go and decide the route you walk through it and make it routine. Never look at advertisement. Close your eyes for five seconds whenever they popped up while you need to see YouTube videos of your choice. Listen Audible while you drive.
I saw your introduction to class. Your coloring and English is superb. You can do it. Remember prioritizing things and sleep well.
